The New Music Video from Nigeria (12th November)
Let the green & white stripes lift their hands for Africa because this is the Nigerian takeover. SOA highlights some of the best New Music videos out of Africa. This week, we are highlighting some of the best of the best New Music videos from Nigeria.
This week we highlight Reekado Banks’ Ozumba Mbadiwe’ music video; he wrote on his verified Instagram page, “Growing up my parents always had positive things to say about Nigeria 🇳🇬 and beautiful stories of how Nigeria was developed with cash crops from different regions of the country North, South, East and Western region. But as we all know, a lot of that beauty appears to have gone behind the curtains. It’s sad, especially for a country with a growing, vibrant and brilliant youth population.
But I am still holding on to the idea of Nigeria that my parents planted in my heart. My hope is significantly strengthened by the resilience of our actions and the loudness of our voices during the EndSARS protests. The spirit of the Nigerian youth will not be suppressed by bad governance and the ruling class.
I am positive that Nigeria will be great again and again, but we must continue to move as a united force to continue to demand good leadership and development for NIGERIANS ❤️. Even in times of hardship, the most beautiful thing about us is that no one can take away our smile and resolve. We will endure momentary sadness, but our joys will not be stripped from us, and we will forge ahead with hope and dancing”.❤💪🏾
