Steve ‘Spotlight’ Osagie in the Arms of Angels

This can’t be true…
We can’t believe our brother, friend, father, businessman, and mentor to many who wore many other titles has sadly left this earth and us!

Steve ‘Spotlight’ Osagie

To even try to comprehend this to be able to write at this time in honour to the man many of us proudly called bro and shared a genuine friendship with hurts beyond belief because this really can’t be true.
As I sit and ponder over the years, I shared with a brother who was the man who would quietly sit in a room whilst people would walk on by without realising that he, Steve Osagie was the GOAT, the industry mover who made things happen and materialise for our Africa to be in the hearts of many across the globe, our brother the family man who would take time out for many and make life his added family.
I’ve seen this man take time to make strangers feel welcomed with his grace and that infectious smile where at the heart of it all, Jesus was Steve’s core, and it hurts to have lost such a precious brother, but I am encouraged to know that our brother lived his life in this industry of sorts sold out for his love in Jesus Christ, and it’s with that I am encouraged whilst saddened to say goodbye but blessed to say he was a true brother and heaven right now is truly blessed.

This will not be the last time, sadly, that we will in our lifetimes have to say goodbye to a fantastic person, so on that note, as my fingers find it hard to write with grief, I implore us all to ride the wave of love, holding onto love at its best and realist whilst being real to your individual God-given talents and stories. This is not your end, but sadly one day it will be, so let’s help each other in our quest for life whether we know what we are doing on this earth or not, but through it, all, always keep God at our core.

Lastly, in our time of mourning, can we keep our brother Steve’s family worldwide in our prayers and respect their time of privacy and intimate mourning.
