As SILVASTONE himself describes, “’Falling For You’ is a special song that takes me to a place of spirituality and connects with the deeper meaning of love.

It was inspired by stories of repeatedly falling in love with someone despite knowing full well the relationship wasn’t working out. It’s a cry of mixed emotions and a celebration of this realisation.

Evidently the juxtapositional self-production is also inspired by this conundrum too – thumping energetic drums expertly blended with soothing laid-back melodic vibes.

SILVASTONE had already been testing the song at numerous festivals and events prior to the Covid-19 pandemic breakout including performing it to great reception at Boomtown Festival (UK) late-last year and the TINA Festival in Ghana earlier the year.

It was whilst in Accra during the “Year Of Return” festivities that he also shot the song’s accompanying music video (out Sept 1st).

“Falling For You” is officially out on all streaming platforms on next Friday 28th August. It was world premiered by DJ Edu at BBC Radio 1Xtra and has since been enjoying overwhelming early support by an array of leading Afrobeats DJs/radio shows internationally.
