The two-time #1 charted Princess of Afro-Fusion Princess Wonda is back with her final single called “Dirty Swagger” (Don’t Dirty My Swagger) (Prod by Mr Marz) off her debut studio album scheduled to be released at the end of this month.
Dirty Swagger is a club anthem and Afropop singalong with influences of highlife. PrincessWonda always seizes the opportunity to express herself through various languages from English to Yoruba and a few sprinkles of quirky pigeon slang. As an artist, it was vital for her to reinforce the importance of enjoying and living life at the moment. The sing-along focuses on celebrating one another, taking joy in the little things in life and not allowing negative people anywhere near your happiness. Hence the term “don’t dirty my swagger”.
Princess Wonda is just getting started with her eclectic work combining sounds across African Diaspora for her upcoming debut studio album to be released at the end of October. She has teamed up with various artists and producers across the globe from Africa, the USA and Europe to produce outstanding quality and substance. She has also told audiences to expect tracks culminating in Afro-swing, Hip-hop, Amapiano and more.
