Highlights From Davido’s Concert at The 02 Arena
“Nigerian superstar musician David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, made history last weekend as he graced the infamous O2 Arena, London. The 02 saw another historic night, all because of Afrobeats.
This was the Champion sound crooner’s second ‘Sold Out’ show. The first show was in 2018, while his second show was on the 5th of March, 2022. It was a night of high expectations.
Before mounting the stage to thrill the large audience that turned up for his sold-out show on Saturday, he affirmed that he wasn’t only going to shut down London, but also, he would make history that night too – and he did exactly that!
Davido performed his monster hits – Skelewu, Gobe, Dami Duro, Aye, IF and Fall, to 20,000 fans. He then set the roof on fire with his more recent hits High (featuring Adekunle Gold), Champion Sound (featuring South Africa’s Focalistic) and Baddest Boy Remix (featuring Skiibii).
The superstar star also brought notable artists on stage, including Zlatan, DMW affiliated Israel, Jnr Choi, CKay, Popcaan, Patoranking, Mayorkun, Capella Grey, Bleu Vandross, Adekunle Gold, Ardee, Pheelz, Focalistic, Victony, Yung Bleu, Not3s, Tion Wayne, Russ Millions, among others. With music provided by music producer and artist DJ Ecool.

Davido is best known for blending traditional African elements with global mainstream pop for a sound that’s equal parts intriguing and infectious. As seen in the “Davido: The baddest 3D photo exhibition.”
The solo exhibition is the first that showcases new and unseen images of Davido taken by Sounds of Africa founder and creative director Micheal Tubes.
