Yemi Alade, one of Africa’s most creatively and commercially successful artists.

In the male dominated industry of African Music, she has solidified herself as a force to be reckoned with against all the odds and is a forerunner as one of the female artists that have contributed immensely in taking African music to the world.

Despite the challenges our female artistes face, Yemi Alade has taken the music scene by storm.

In 2018, She performed in more than 30 countries across different continents including Europe, Carribean, America , Canada and Africa. She was also the first female #Afrobeats artist to HEADLINE her own show in the UK.

In July 2019, Alade became the first African female artist to reach one million subscribers on YouTube. Her song “Johnny” currently holds the YouTube record for the most watched African Female music video of all time.

Alade was featured on “Don’t Jealous Me”, a track from Beyonce’s soundtrack album The Lion King: The Gift.

She appeared on the track alongside Mr Eazi and Tekno. Rolling Stone magazine revealed that Alade also recorded a verse for an earlier version of “My Power” in June.

Alade released her fourth studio album, Woman of Steel, in 2019.

It features guest appearances from Rick Ross, Angélique Kidjo, Nollywood Actress Funke Akindele and Afrobeats Artists Duncan Mighty.
