British-Nigerian Adenikè Debut EP

Afrisounds LTD artist, Adenikè’s self-titled debut EP is out now on all platforms. The project boasts three new love songs in the frame of; ‘Enough’, ‘Sweet Love’ and ‘No Fool’.

Speaking on her EP’s theme, the ‘Tonight’ star’s drive was simple: ’I have made some wrong choices and great ones regarding men, and I hope other ladies can relate’’.

Slotting in at track 1, ‘Enough’ resounds the above quote with a gust of girl power, purposely aimed at toxic relationships. The man she loved isn’t who he seemed to be, and her only option is to move away from the madness.

‘No Fool’ follows suit, with Adenikè having enough. Too many games have been played, and it’s time to move on. He’s trying to stain her ego, but she’s not falling for it.

Bringing an end to the experience is ‘Sweet Love’ together with Adenikè’s rush of uncontrollable feelings for one special man. Adenikè’s heart is restless, and the remedy lies in the mysterious fellow’s arms, the only place she wants to be.

Adenikѐ Adegbiyi, widely known by her stage name Adenikѐ (Yoruba for ‘’Royalty’’), is a British-Nigerian Afro-Pop singer and songwriter based in southeast London.

Debuting in October of 2019, Adenikè’s brother played a critical role in her passion for music. The two would spend countless hours together, writing and recording songs, all of which have shaped Adenikè into the formidable artist she is today.

Inspired by H.E.R, Tiwa Savage, Sinead Harnett and Burna Boy, Adenikè’s flair springs from her distinctive melodies, which, when put in tandem with her often-dynamic beat selections, brings a surreal experience to listeners.

Although relatively new, Adenikè is already becoming a household name on popular streaming platforms, having secured over 215,000 streams on Spotify and YouTube alone with her first official song, ‘Ride’. She has also earned features with the likes of Flaunt Magazine and Earmilk Music blog, amid having her content played back-to-back on a slew of platforms, including; Apple Music, MTV Base Africa, Trace TV Network and Reprezent Radio, to name a few.

Adenikè’s touch on music is nothing but beauty, and with her debut EP finally here, many can finally find what they’ve been missing.
