Trayc Selasi The Art & The Muse EP OUT NOW!!

Following on from the momentum of her previous releases, and a successful, continent-spanning dance career across Europe and Africa. Multi-faceted British-Ghanaian singer, dancer, and songwriter Trayc Selasi returns with her highly anticipated debut EP “The Art and the Muse”, just in time for cuffing season.

A high-level demonstration of genre versatility, playful production, candid songwriting, enveloped in enthralling and self-assured vocals, heavily influenced by the infectious sounds and culture of her native.

“This E.P has become an eye-opener for me and has allowed me to be vulnerable. Opening sides to me I only shared in a diary. This project has given me so much joy, and I am ready to share with the world who I am, My art, My MUSE”.  Trayc explains.

Crafted in collaboration with burgeoning producers Streatbeatz, Beat Boy Soda, George the producer, and co-produced by herself between London and Ghana. Each single on the EP creates intimate narratives, whilst touching on key themes that include; love, happiness, euphoria and freedom.

Special guest featured artists Efya and Worlasi help bring the interconnected project to life with their flavoursome vocal offering. Inviting listeners to experience Trayc’s carefully curated dreamworld.

Her genuine passion for making timeless, feel-good music, has been her motivation to hone in on her craft and continue embracing her alternative style of music. Leading her to accumulate over 100k streams, trend on Audiomack and BoomplayGH for her most recent single ‘Somebody’ (produced by Abochi music), which is also currently charting on the official global afrobeats chart, powered by Bolon music.

Trayc’s career continues to jump from strength to strength, having been endorsed on a number of prominent platforms such as; Universal music Nigeria, RinseFM, TheBeat1036 FM, Vox Africa, Pulse88, Kiss Fresh among others.

She is one of the most promising talents to emerge from the UK Afropop scene since she rose to prominence in 2012, during her dance cameo in Fuse ODG’s ‘Antenna’ video, and again for ‘Dangerous Love’ in 2014, which gained over 22 million+ views on YouTube. Leading her to continue performing across many stages locally and nationally for Fuse ODG, to which sparked a global career for her to showcase her talent performing for large crowds at major live music events such as; The Ghana Music Awards, Notting Hill Carnival, Indigo O2, Teni’s ‘Billionaire’ concert, and opening at the infamous SCALA, King’s cross, London for King Promise to name a few.

With no intentions of slowing down, Trayc Selasi is an indication of an artist who is not only able to draw on their own experiences to curate vibrant musical landscapes.

But guaranteed to leave a striking impact on the Afrobeats scene.
