ENERGY FOR DAY ONE AS AFRONATION KICKS OFF

The first day of the Afro Nation Festivals kicked off well on Wednesday, June 26, with energetic performances from several artists lined up to entertain music lovers in the biggest Afrobeats festival in the world.
London’s decks master Neptizzle kicked off the performances with energetic Afrobeats hits, making it easier for Lisandro Cuxi and The Compozers keep the fans on their feet.
Nigeria’s Ruger and BXBN then took over the stage beleted out big tunes as the over 40,000 people danced and sang along.
Grammy award winner Tyla brought some more energy on stage as she performed alongside her dancers. Her energetic performance was followed by a great performance by Franglish, who was shown love by his French speaking fans.
Perhaps the best performance was from the showstopper for the day, Asake. From a magnificent stage set portraying the streets where he comes from, he also brought on stage one of the best UK rappers, Central Cee.
Even though there were slight changes with the performance list at the last minute, where some names like UK rapper J Hus, Ninho, Seyi Vibes were removed, they were replaced by some energetic singers like Ruger, BXBN and  Franglish.
Today, Thursday 27th, American rapper Nicki Minaj is expected to be the highlight of the day’s performances.
