You that you wanted to waste my life. Signed me with no plans. You gave my songs away, my mother paid you in full and I got out the contract, I walked away peacefully. Thank God for my mom, I would’ve still been singing on the streets of Atlanta. https://t.co/bi4Voh4K1x

Music Lawyer, Akinyemi, wrote this on his Instagram page, “Record Producers are the most UNDULY exploited music professionals in the business. They get screwed routinely.
When producers give their juice (energy, time, and creativity) TO AN ARTIST, 8 out of 10 cases end up like this.
I know and have witnessed this scenario too many times. After original compositions and song ideas are created, the artist and their team recreate the song (still using original ideas and elements from the first producer) with another producer/beatmaker and then sideline the first producer/beatmaker; they started the idea with. THE FIRST PRODUCER gets no payment and loses out on all music royalties.
I think Shizzi has a solid claim to the song. See slide 2. And should have let his lawyers handle this instead of trading words online.
I always tell record producers and Label owners to understand the nature of talents. Especially the new talents.
1. At the inception. Before the attention, fame, money, groupies, connections, endorsement, they are 💯 loyal and will stomach all manner of inconvenience.
2. After the BLOW UP., 8 out of 10 TALENTS will forget all the contributions and sacrifices of those who were part of helping them BLOW UP. They suddenly have short memories. And will not hesitate to rubbish their benefactors at the slightest opportunity.
RECORD PRODUCERS SHOULD ALWAYS HANDLE BUSINESS WITH THIS IN MIND. THESE ARTISTS DO NOT CARE and will F*ck you over at the slightest opportunity.
Because of these types of experiences, I have staged a lot of Webinars for music producers and beatmakers.
I always advise that producers only work with other talents when they are sure their interest is well catered to.
He further explains that Record Producers, In 2022, should sign up to his course and FIGHT FOR YOUR LEGACY and #SecureDaBagForRecordProducers course loading!
He will announce the details soon enough”.
