The Sauti Sol UK Tour Experience

WOW, what a night. CORRECTION, what an experience of environments!

The air was tight, the vibe was sweeter than sweet, but the mood was everything!

Have you ever been in a room with giants, and I mean real giants? Well, on the Sauti Sol UK experience, it was like being in a room with giants. Now I’m not talking David and Goliath giants (although some band members are very tall); I’m talking metaphorical giants.

When you gaze around the room, and you see all the faces of every race and gender beaming, and I mean smiling with eyes transfixed, enjoying the vibe, not worrying about their “two-step” or the sweat rolling down their face, you will notice that every face was transfixed to the movement that is Sauti Sol.

Every lyric, key, dance, and melody in unison made the sweetest sounds that the eye, heart and ear could comprehend, and it was gorgeous.

Sadly my fingers as I write cannot connect in the way that the band members unite to serinade their audience. Still, I kid you not when I say that I cried real tears that night. My eyes were not the only eyes that wept in the presence of the giants as they sang 🎶 Oh Suzanna… and took us on a Fela Kuti vibe, with a dash of Yemi Alade, and I kid you, not the house came down in one accord when they sang worship.

It was on another level, so surreal. Sauti Sol remind us what music is, so with that, all there is left to say is I implore you not to sleep on Sauti Sol because just like it’s scripted in Gladiators, I can say, PROUDLY that I walked in the days of Sauti Sol, did you?
